Kendriya Vidyalaya, Baramulla,
a co-educational institution was set up in the year October 1985.
The budding Vidyalaya has now fully blossomed and is running in an effective
way with single
section from class I to X.

Colourful wooden walls of the Vidyalaya, apples and walnut trees within the campus and flowers in the garden provide the Vidyalaya
an aesthetic and elegant look. Fragrance of ever blossomed flowers in its lawns has added jubilancy in the atmosphere.
Besides,
rich and constructive environment at Vidyalaya have been provided by the follow up of discipline, co-operation and
cleanliness.
For winter classes, there are arrangements for Gas Bukharies in each class room to prevent hampering of studies.
Medical care of each child is taken.
First aid and elementary care is provided to all students. Medical checkup of each student is conducted on regular basis twice during
an academic session. Besides, to apply new technologies in the educational process, an equipped resource room has
been developed.
To ensure the balanced development of the personality of each child inter House CCA Competitions, Games and Sports,
Scouts& Guides Activities, Youth Parliament, Nature Club, etc. are organized.
To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.
